Josi is a dynamic and relational teacher whose thirst for knowledge and love of adventure has taken her around the world. Living and traveling overseas has given her substantial life experience in cultural sensitivity, a great appreciation of diversity, and respect for the challenges of second language learning (along with a plethora of funny stories of mishaps and exploits to share with her students!). Along with the spice of adventure and cross-cultural experience that she brings to the classroom, Josi also has eighteen years of formal teaching experience in private school education, gained in the United States and abroad. She earned an MA in International Relations from Salve Regina University and a BA in Liberal Studies from Eastern Oregon University, and though Josi trained for a career in diplomacy, she has never regretted her decision to become an educator instead! Helping her students discover and develop their dreams, talents, and potential brings Josi deep personal fulfillment and joy.
