/Natalie recently graduated from the University of Vermont where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Community and International Development. She believes that the future is dependent on today’s youth, and every person, no matter their background, should have equal access to a meaningful, safe, and fulfilling future. She has learned that supporting youth is a crucial component of community development. Natalie has had a variety of experiences working with youth both locally and internationally. She worked as a summer camp counselor for 2 years, tutored children through the San Francisco Unified School District for 3 years, and taught English to students internationally. One of her favorite experiences was her role Farm to School Educator through a local Vermont farm during which she educated over 1,200 students each month about Vermont’s food system with the goal of promoting lifelong healthy eating habits. She hopes to incorporate working with students into her future career and is excited about the opportunity to continue creating connections with youth and aiding them in their academic and personal pursuits.
