Tony is really excited to be joining EDMO for his first year as an Instructor! For the past thirteen years, Tony has been involved in different educational environments such as: High School, Higher Education, and most recently, Museum Education. He really enjoys teaching kids of all ages, and he is very passionate about bilingual education and working with children in the Reno Area communities where he has been living since he moved from Guanajuato, Mexico in 2012. He holds a bachelor's in Philosophy and recently graduated from University of Nevada Reno where he was granted a M. A. World Languages and Literatures with a specialization in Spanish. He is very excited to help students learning Spanish and making it fun! He lives with his lovely wife Corie, his two boys Balam and Canek, and his crazy little dog Lola. He loves cooking, reading, playing drums, and playing video games once in a while.
