Amazing Art: Community Art

Kids will learn about the many ways they can bring art to their communities through positive messages, environmental beauty, and interactive art. Young artists will place their projects in the community so others can enjoy them and design prototypes for larger-scale artworks that could be installed in community settings. Kids will experiment with a variety of art techniques to explore self-expression, artistic design, and creative problem solving, all while building empathic bonds with their fellow artists in the class.
This class is
Once-a-Week (5 classes)
and is available as a Single Session
Once-a-week classes meet at the same time everyday for 5 days. All Classes meet with the same instructor and kids to build friendships and a comforting routine.

You Will Need:
- Device to join on Zoom
- One or more rocks
- Acrylic or tempera paint set
- Paintbrush(es)
- Water cup
- Yarn (variety is great!)
- One or more small branches
- Scissors
- Canvas or watercolor paper
- Colorful construction paper and/or magazines to clip
- Glue stick and/or liquid glue
- Kabob stick (pointy dowel)
- Many pieces of cardboard, cardstock, foam sheets, or similar, including small scraps (still greater than ~2x2”)
