Who runs the world? Women! In this five-session class, we'll learn about women inventors who have changed our lives. Not only will we find out more about engineers and creative geniuses like Mary Sherman (inventor of liquid rocket fuel) and Florence Parpart (inventor of the modern refrigerator), we'll try to recreate their inventions at home.
Kids are going to be learning about the innovations of women throughout the centuries while also putting a unique spin on their own creations. They will be learning about the planning process behind an invention, as well as how to experiment and test their own innovative ideas.
Once-a-week classes meet at the same time everyday for 5 days. All Classes meet with the same instructor and kids to build friendships and a comforting routine.
