At Camp EDMO, children engage in a variety of subjects such as science, coding, engineering, and the arts to access their curiosity. Every day, campers rotate between experiential projects based on their chosen theme, activities that get their bodies moving (think stretching, silly dance moves, and games), and social emotional learning (SEL) exercises designed to help them build connections and develop critical life skills like empathy and problem solving. EDMO staff help campers collaborate on coding projects and growing friendships, practicing mindfulness and yoga poses, and building rocket ships and self-confidence — all with a healthy dose of silliness!
All the excitement your kids love—but in smaller, safer groups. On-site camps run in full day, weeklong sessions for grades Pre-K to 5 from June through August. Current locations in Northern CA (SF Bay Area and Greater Sacramento).
Some sites require a minimum number of weeks. To ensure the safety of everyone in the EDMO community participating in our on-site or in-person programs, we will be following all local and state COVID-19 policies as they evolve. Read our full safety protocols here.
Even when it takes place over Zoom, every day at Camp EDMO Online begins and ends with rallies, songs, and jokes. Campers in grades Pre-K to 8 will spend as much time out of their seats as they will absorbed in collaborating on hands-on projects. Throughout the day, instructors and counselors actively engage with campers online, encouraging them to problem solve and connect with others and share questions and ideas.
Camp EDMO Online is offered Monday through Friday in weekly half day or full day sessions throughout the summer.
