Roblox Programming

Roblox can bring gaming ideas to life! The Roblox game engine uses the Lua programming language, which is powerful yet simple for kids to learn and to use. EDMO coaches can work with 1-3 kids to teach them how to use the tools and scripting API Roblox provides, providing fun exercises and projects to help kids learn how to create their own games. In the process, the coaches will help cultivate self-confidence and a growth mindset. Required materials: Mac or Windows computer, Roblox account, Roblox Studio software. (Highly recommended: mouse.)
