Mission
We provide equitable access to out-of-school learning opportunities designed to help every person cultivate a sense of self, own their impact, and show up in the world with curiosity, courage, and kindness.
Vision
We envision a more connected world where all people feel confident on their journey toward self-discovery and cultivate a deep sense of responsibility.
Values
Inclusivity
We meet every person where they are by creating intentional and safe spaces that foster a sense of belonging. In the pursuit of a more equitable world, we work to create programming that is available to all people — regardless of background or learning style.
Authenticity
We ignite curiosity and creativity through programs that encourage kids and team members to embrace progress, not perfection. We nurture personal growth by creating spaces for community members to courageously be their authentic selves.
Connection
We cultivate opportunities for kids and team members to collaborate with empathy, resilience, and integrity. Understanding that we are all connected, we build programs that fortify an understanding of every person’s impact on their community and the world.
Model
We provide high-quality, year-round, out-of-classroom programming, with an emphasis on on-site and online summer camps, supplemented by after-school programs and one-on-one tutoring and mentoring sessions. We use a multi-layered approach to learning so that kids can gain hard skills (like STEAM and foreign languages) while practicing soft skills (SEL) through The EDMO Method. We employ well-trained staff members who are passionate about the EDMO mission and educate by example. We partner with school districts, organizations, and local communities to provide equitable access to out-of-school learning for kids across the socio-economic spectrum. By holistically educating kids, we connect them to the impact their learning and actions have on the world around them.
Nonprofit
For people — not for profit. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are dedicated to earmarking funds that make access to our programs a reality. In fact, 5% of our revenue and 100% of all donations go to our Financial Assistance program.

Our Partners
We are only as good as the organizations we work with, and we consider ourselves lucky to have worked with the best of the best. Learn more about becoming an EDMO School + Community Partner here.

Support Equitable Access to Out-of-Classroom Learning
Want to help us keep bringing summer camp to kids across the U.S.? We accept donations to help fund our Financial Assistance program to do just that. Your donation helps bring the joy of summer camp to kids who would not have access to it otherwise. And who knows? That kid could be the next Neil Degrasse Tyson :)
