Real story
"EDMO gave me the opportunity to reach my potential as a team leader. At that time, I had more passion than experience.
EDMO gave me the space to learn to communicate effectively, collaborate, and lead with compassion. All of these skills have continued to help me be successful in my educational journey."
Lucy was an EDMO Director in San Francisco. Today she teaches middle school math and history and is finishing her Master's degree.
Who we are
Since 2004, EDMO has run school-year programs and summer camps. We don't just keep kids busy. We grow curious, courageous, and kind humans, and we built a method to do exactly that. The EDMO Method® teaches five skills we call S.P.A.C.E., and it works for both kids and the people who lead them. Kids learn through play. You learn on the job. We hire for it, train on it, and promote for it.
