Gender Equality Month Gender Equality Month recognizes the contributions of individuals who have been marginalized based on gender and advocates for gender equity. This month-long celebration acknowledges the historical framing of gender as binary while highlighting the diverse experiences of people across the gender spectrum. Harriet Tubman Day - March 10th Harriet Tubman Day celebrates Harriet Tubman, a former slave who fought tirelessly to free other slaves by assisting them in fleeing their captors.
