Edmo Full Day - Summer Model

The EDMO Full Day model is for districts who are looking to create a full day STEAM & SEL-focused, whole child enrichment experience for their students. EDMO staff lead every element and activity of the camp day.

Integrated Full Day SUMMER MODEL

Our Integrated Full Day model is for districts looking to create a seamless 9-hour summer program where district teachers lead daily academic stations in between enrichment stations for the first half of the day. EDMO staff support teachers during their instructional time and teachers support EDMO staff during enrichment times as well as participate fully in the camp culture, rallies, songs, games, etc. EDMO staff lead all the afternoon activities of the day.

A+B SUMMER MODEL

In a typical “A+B” Model the students attend a half day of academics-focused district summer school in the morning (A), and then transition to a half day of EDMO STEAM & SEL and outdoor recreation activities in the afternoon (B). District teachers and staff lead the morning lessons and EDMO staff lead the afternoon enrichment activities, camp games, songs, skits, etc. EDMO and district combined program up to 9 hours a day.

Comprehensive After-School Programs (CASPs)

Our Comprehensive After-school Programs run 180 days per school year (with the option for 30 intersession days in addition). Each day students rotate between STEAM & SEL activities, academic support and outdoor games. Our Site Director and Instructors meet regularly with teachers to align after school activities with what students are learning during the school day. In addition to daily activities, students and staff plan monthly activities that align with school events, national and cultural holidays, and family engagement goals of the program.

Staff have even more opportunity to become part of the school culture and understand what academic and SEL skills teachers are focusing on with each student.  Requires funding in addition to ELO-P funding.

Blended Partnership Model

Our Blended Partnership Model is designed for district and school partners with students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Typically these partners are in Tier 2 of ELO-P funding with less than 75% unduplicated students. We co-design our after-school or summer models to blend ELO-P funds with family contributions, and other funding sources to create an exceptional STEAM & SEL program for all. This adaptable approach desegregates your expanded learning programs and ensures all students have equitable access to engaging out-of-school learning experiences.
