Staff members spend their summer (in-person or online) connecting with kids, honing leadership skills and making a real impact - all while rocking wacky costumes and getting pied in the face! Summer Site Coordinator / Summer Camp Director
Site Coordinators are responsible for overseeing all things pertaining to their assigned location(s). From pre-season staff hiring and training, to in-season program management, staff coaching and camper and parent interactions, they manage every aspect of day to day camp operations.
Summer Learning Coordinator
The Learning Coordinator observes curriculum periods led by instructors and gives them feedback on how to effectively implement our curriculum and the SEL methodology. Learning Coordinators are responsible for providing support and feedback to in-person camp staff as well as subbing for instructors when needed.
Preschool Instructors are responsible for teaching all Junior curriculum for campers who are 4 and 5 years old. They train on all JR curriculum themes and teach their campers about the beginning stages of Social and Emotional Learning.
Technology Instructors are responsible for teaching all technology curriculum for campers going into 1st - 5th grades. They train on all EDMO curriculum and lead their campers through a four period day including two technology theme rotations, one rotation focused on Social and Emotional Learning and one outdoor Game Time period.
Science/Maker Instructors are responsible for teaching all Science/Maker curriculum for campers going into 1st - 5th grades. They train on all EDMO curriculum and lead their campers through a four period day including two curriculum theme rotations, one rotation focused on Social and Emotional Learning and one outdoor Game Time period.
Instructors are responsible for teaching all Science/Maker or Tech curriculum for campers going into TK - 8th grades. They train on all EDMO curriculum and lead their campers through theme rotations, one rotation focused on Social and Emotional Learning and one outdoor Game Time period.
Summer Camp Counselor
Counselors are responsible for overseeing all day to day activities with their group of campers. They support instructors with curriculum in the classroom and help run organized periods of Team Time (Social and Emotional Learning curriculum) and outdoor Game Time with their assigned group of campers daily.
