All information you need for a successful EDMO school year is included in the Welcome Packets below. Please find your school location and click the link to open your Welcome Packet. Adventure and learning are just a click away!
EDMO is committed to maintaining a positive and safe environment for all kids and staff. We do not allow weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco or other banned substances at any programs. We also do not allow animals at any programs except in the case of service animals.
We have strict safety guidelines and also do not allow any unattended scooters, bikes or skateboards. If your kid rides a scooter, bike or skateboard to school or program, we will ask them to store their scooter, bike or skateboard in a designated area and it must remain there for the duration of the program.
We ask that your kiddo keep any electronic devices in their bag throughout the duration of the program to encourage engagement and interaction. Devices include, but are not limited to, cell phones, tablets, laptops and chromebooks.
Anyone picking up your kid from the program will need to be on your Pickup Authorization list, which you complete during the registration process. If you'd like to add someone to your kid’s Pickup Authorization list after registering, please log into your EDMO account at edmo.org and select 'Manage my Contacts.' Anyone picking up a kid from the program must provide a photo ID daily to confirm they are on the authorized pick-up list
We are committed to safety and timely communication with families regarding any injuries your kiddo might experience.
If your kiddo gets an unfortunate bump, scrape, or skinned knee, the adult picking them up will receive a note about the incident.
In the event of any head or serious injury, a parent/guardian or your emergency contacts (if a parent/guardian cannot be reached) will receive a call within 15 minutes of the injury and a full written Incident Report will be provided to you within 48 hours.
Kids should be aware of their allergy and instructed not to trade food, share drinks and to tell a staff member if a reaction does start.
All allergies should be indicated on the health form during registration if registering directly with EDMO or on file with the district/school if registering through the district/school.
EDMO also requires the following:
✅ Inform the Site Director or Site Assistant of the allergy at drop-off on the first day of the program so they can be instructed on how to properly handle any allergic reactions.
✅ Provide us with a photo of your camper attached to instructions, medical documentation and medication for managing a reaction, if one should occur.
It is our priority to maintain a positive and safe environment for all kids and staff. If your kiddo is having difficulty adjusting to the program, we are here to collaborate with you to help resolve any issues. Should challenges persist, requiring further action, we will work with you to develop an action plan and come to an agreement on expected behavior. We prioritize resolving disruptions by arriving at mutually agreeable solutions with families and kids, however, if a kiddo’s behavior continually affects the safety or enjoyment of others despite our collaborative efforts, we may ask you to pick your kid up from the program. In some cases of repeated disruption, your kiddo may be excused from the program. Rare instances involving physical violence or viable threat may result in immediate removal from the program. Please note, asking a kid to leave camp is our last resort. We are committed to doing everything we can to keep all of our kids safe and happy.
